What is Base?

Base network is a Layer 2 chain built on Ethereum, in collaboration with the Optimism network, to offer a low-cost solution to gas prices. Base was built by Coinbase exchange and released on August 9, 2023. Building on Base is easy, cheap and quick especially when you use Gas.zip.

How can I access the Base network?

You can access and transfer money to Base using any EVM wallet. Gas.zip supports EVM compatible wallets such as Metamask, Coinbase, Rainbow. To add Base network to your wallet, visit Gas.zip and click the “Add Metamask” button for Base network seen in the image below.

How do I transfer gas on the Base network?
